Music Addict? Here Are The Smartphones You Should Pick

Smartphones are becoming smarter every year. With room for new groundbreaking innovation shrinking, we have incremental upgrades. The cameras are getting super sharp, processors are getting ultra-fast, battery capacities are going through the roof.

Something that is also happening is that in the effort to make smartphones very slim, quite a lot of smartphone makers are just dropping the headphone jack. The first phone which actually happened to drop the 3.5 mm headphone jack was actually the iPhone 7. Then it would seem that many of the biggest smartphone makers such as HTC, LG, Asus and even Google dropped the headphone jack as well.

Even so, that does not mean that these phones did not have crazy music and audio quality. Here’s a list of 5 smartphones for the most diehard audiophiles.

Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung has not followed Apple’s steps and at every keynote, they are announcing the fact very proudly. The headphone jack has not been dropped on any of its devices and it would seem that Samsung does not have any plans of dropping it.

Samsung has also been working with AKG to give some of the best audio available in a smartphone. There also happens to be a driver which is present in the earpiece speaker now outputs audio too, which cancels the lopsided effect of a single driver array.

Razer Phone

The first gaming-centric phone in the industry and it can be said without a shadow of a doubt that the phone has the best speakers. However, the phone has dropped the headphone jack.

Speaker quality has no competition as per many reports. A closer inspection has found out that the device had a larger-than-average driver placed above and below the screen, delivering loud stereo sound. In terms of pure volume, the Razer Phone is yet to be beaten.

HTC U11 Plus

Some time ago whenever we had to name a phone with the best audio quality we didn’t have to look further than HTC phones. However, that was a long time ago. Even so, the HTC U11 Plus has some of the best speakers till date. It has a great DAC adapter, however, as with many other smartphones, the U11 Plus has dropped the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Google Pixel 2

Apart from having the best smartphone camera till date, the Pixel also has two mind-blowing speakers on front. They are quite loud and also are quite clear. The phone also has dropped the headphone jack but the speaker quality makes up for it.

iPhone X

Some of its shortcomings aside, it would seem that the iPhone X seems to have a very loud and crisp speaker. The lack of a headphone jack does cause a problem but a dongle will be able to solve that problem. Audio quality over headphones is one of the cleanest in the smartphone industry.

Which one of these is your favorite? Regardless of your pick, it makes sense to sell your current smartphone on Cashify before you upgrade to any of these!
