The Note 9 is the most impressive device out there with its iconic Infinity Display. Many Android manufacturers are using notched displays to increase the screen real estate on their devices. Samsung on the other hand, has decided not to follow that trend and still managing a near bezel-less, full-frontal glass, edge-to-edge display. The ppi count on the Note 9 is 516, with a resolution of 2960×1440. The super AMOLED screen is great for gaming and all your multimedia needs, and will be a major plus for content creators.

The Note 9 comes with a brushed metal frame, with a rear camera sitting almost entirely flush with the surface, completing the all-around seamless design this gives the device a visually appealing look.

The camera setup on the rear is a 12 MP (F1.5/F2.4) dual aperture shooter. Dual aperture tech, just like the human eye, adapts to the surrounding light and changes its aperture accordingly. Another cool feature is the ‘Scene Optimizer’ – which can be seen on the rear camera this thing detects the subject in frame. It then chooses from twenty different modes like flowers, food, Tree, Sky etc and then enhances the pictures to suit the subject.

This intelligent camera can also detect blinks, blurs, smudged lenses etc. thus notifying you so you can adjust and reshoot.

The front camera is of 8MP. You can click images using the S-pen too. For video recording, Optical Image Stabilisation is supported. The Note 9 can record slow motion videos at 960FPs. If you’re interested in showing off your animated side, there’s an AR emoji feature built in as well.

Unlike other countries where Samsung sells the Snapdragon variant of the Note 9, the Indian market sees the Note 9 powered by Samsung’s in house chipset – the Exynos 9810 – which is an octa-core processor.

The base variant has 6 GB of RAM, while another goes up to 8GB of RAM. There’s Android 8.1 with Touchwiz UI. For your gaming needs the GPU is the Mali G72MP18.
