A newly unearthed video of the Samsung portrays a genuine Samsung S6 edge running Android 6.0.1 named Marshmallow. The newly leaked video suggests that the apps are classified into two groups – Edge feeds for receiving information at a glance and Edge panels for added functionality.
During the quick impression quite a few new apps like My Apps for recently used apps, Task for frequently used apps, Quick Tools, S Planner & Weather were spotted. It is revealed that the new Android build has been overlaid with a new edition of TouchWiz UI with flattened appeal. However, links to the Galaxy Store put forward a view that the new app types are expandable and more innovations are on the way.
According to the reports, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + were the most recent models of Samsung Gadgets that were suppose to get this update. It was expected to happen before the completion of 2015 but the deadline is almost over.
Once the Samsung S6 gets update, it is likely that Samsung’s other leading models of 2015 would also get updated soon. The list includes Samsung Galaxy A8, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note 5. Rumour has it that Poland would be the first nation to receive the updates and other parts of the world would be catered to later.
