With the launch of BlackBerry Priv, the Canadian smartphone giant embraced the operating system of Android last year. Now, BlackBerry seems pretty much ready to roll out its Android based smartphones soon.
Recently, pictures of two forthcoming Android-based smartphones were leaked that had a BlackBerry make on it. The CEO of BlackBerry, John Chen had earlier stated that they have codenamed the plans of launching two budget smartphones that are Rome and Hamburg.
The handset of Rome will be featuring QWERTY keyboard, a huge screen, AMOLED display, and an embedded speaker grill above the screen & below the keyboard.
The handset of Hamburg will be featuring an all-touch screen and BlackBerry might feature a hidden keyboard under the screen like that of BlackBerry Priv. If rumours are to be believed then Hamburg will come in a dimension of 146×78 mm, a metal body and with a hefty price tag of $400.
