After its ingression with its flagships G6 and V20, LG has announced a new budget device – the Q8. While the G6 and V20 are feature packed powerful handsets, the company took everyone by surprise when it announced its 3rd tier top option.
LG’s Q8, in its overall appeal, appears to be quite similar to V20 which came out in 2016. It’s more like a mini V20 and has a 5’2 inches display screen. The body of the phone is metallic with IP67 waterproofing all over.
It has Snapdragon 820 chipset inside and Quad DAC for far superior audio output. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat, and has a battery support of 3,000 mAh for it. Coming to storage, its has a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage.
The display is LG’s flagship Quantum IPS panel, protected by Gorilla Glass 4. It also sports a secondary screen with a resolution of 160 x 1,040 pixels. The main camera is a 13 megapixel shooter.
The full package of Q8 seems to be quite lucrative in terms of features, but the pricing structure has not been revealed yet. Once LG releases the details of pricing, we will get to know about the economic viability of this model too. It’s expected to release around this month. So lets wait and watch.
