iPhone lovers waiting for iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s need to check out another iPhone model that needs a refresh. Rumour have it that the iPhone SE will see a sequel launch in August.
The much leaked flagship iPhone 8 announcement will be scheduled for October instead of September. The company is going to hold an event late in August to introduce the new version of the iPhone SE with a 4.2 inch screen.
The iPhone SE version 2 will have a 12 MP camera, Apple’s s A9 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 3D touch from the iPhone 6S. This model would be even cheaper than previous model, owing to Apple manufacturing it in India.
The SE will have familiar design and body of iPhone 5S, with powerful hardware and improved cameras coming in from the iPhone 7. The storage capacity should be doubled, and will be available in sizes of 32 GB and 128 GB. Apple has begun assembling the iPhone SE in India at its contract manufacturer’s plant in Bangalore. The phone will will run iOS 11.
Although this version will have old body design, the iPhone SE is still an important aspect of Apple’s ecosystem, as the device was a smash hit among consumers due to its affordable price and smaller screen. Apple acknowledged that some people simply love smaller phones. The company is focusing on small screen sized devices because people seem to still want a smaller iPhone in their hand.
SE is still a fabulous smartphone and as with Apple’s entire product, if you buy one you will get a device that is solid, beautifully built and made to last. There is also a bonus of its smaller form factor as the SE is much easier to handle than some of Apple’s bigger devices.
