Here are the differences and similarities between the two models that one needs to know.

 

Similarities

 

Both Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 are available in GSM/HSPA/LTE technology platforms, making them recent 4G entrants in Indian mobile market. Both models are available with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS & have 720×1080 display resolution. Point Of Differences

 

Display Size: Samsung Galaxy On5 features a 5 inch touch screen display interface whereas Galaxy On7 features a 5.5 inch display.

 

Resolution: Though both models have 720×1080 display resolution, there is a difference in pixel density of two models. Samsung Galaxy On5 has 288 ppi pixel density while Galaxy On7 has 267 ppi.

Camera: The Galaxy On7 has a 13 MP primary camera, equipped with LED flash and a 5 MP secondary camera. Samsung Galaxy On5 has 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5 MP secondary camera.

 

Processing Capacity: Samsung Galaxy On5 is powered by a Cortex-A7 quad core processor, which clocks at 1.3 GHz. Galaxy On7 lags behind with a clocking of 1.2 GHz. Though it will not make much difference to average users, it is safe to say that Galaxy On7 may lag a bit compared to On5 under certain conditions and usage.
