The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are some of the hottest and widely-anticipated smartphones right now. With OnePlus’s philosophy of providing flagship features for a lower price point, taking a backseat this time around, we can expect the devices to be priced moderately more than its predecessors. This is also the first time around that OnePlus is about to launch more than one phone at the same time.
OnePlus 7 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro happens to be a premium offering from OnePlus, which is said to compete with the Galaxy S10 series. One of the highlighting features for the device is that it comes with a QHD+ display and a 90 Hz refresh rate, both of which are to be introduced for the first time by the company.
The OnePlus 7 Pro also is expected to come with curved edges, giving it a feel akin to the Galaxy S10 and Huawei P30 Pro. For the selfie enthusiasts, the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to have a pop-up secondary camera. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset is also going to be included in the device and leaks have pointed towards a mammoth 12GB RAM variant of the phone along with 512 GB of internal storage.
The primary cameras on the phone are expected to be a triple-lens setup, which will have a 48 MP sensor along with a telephoto camera and an ultra-wide sensor. The phone also has an optical fingerprint sensor that could be one of the fastest in the industry to date.
The OnePlus 7, on the other hand, is expected to sport a waterdrop notch, a flat FHD+ display, dual-cameras and larger battery than the 7 Pro. This device will be priced lower and more in the range of previous OnePlus devices. In India, the phone launch is going to be live streamed while the official launch happens in New York.
