Chinese handset maker OnePlus has begun the rollout of the latest over-the-air (OTA) OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 5. It brings a host of new changes to the phone, such as a new launcher, phone performance and camera improvements along with bug fixes.
The OTA release is in the form of OxygenOS version 4.5.10. The update would be reaching only a small batch of users initially and most likely be available to other users in the next few days.
There was also Jio call functionality. A common display problem is also said to have been fixed.
OnePlus 5 Revisited.
In terms of specs, OnePlus 5 smartphone is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It supports nearly 34 GSM network bands, giving up what the company claims as seamless connectivity around the globe.
The device brings in a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera combination and also a 16MP front camera. It houses has a 3,300mAh battery that the company said lasts up to 20 per cent longer than its predecessor OnePlus 3T.
