The Realme brand positions itself as a brand for young people, focusing on end-user needs and experience with a keen emphasis on strong performance and out of the box design. Based on the same principles, it has unveiled its new smartphone – the Realme 2 pro.
Announced in September, The Realme 2 Pro is being promoted as a “powerful and stylish” device with unbeatable pricing, set for an October 11 sale date. The headset uses a dewdrop-designed notch on a screen featuring a with 6.3-inch FHD+ display. It is equipped with Snapdragon 660 chipset, all that and much more at an attractive price point of Rs 13,990.
This Realme phone features a unique notched display, the company calls it a ‘dewdrop’ screen due to the fact that the notch present resembles a water drop. The 6.3″ panel features an impressive 90.8% screen to body ratio, while tiny notch includes the front camera, light & distance sensor, and earpiece. The back of the phone is also quite appealing featuring a transparent glossy visual effect, resulting in firm, smooth grip.
Under the hood, the Realme 2 Pro comes equipped with aQualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE (Artificial Intelligence Engine) processor with Adreno 512 GPU for all your gaming needs. Upto 8 GB of latest LPDDR4X RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage with UFS 2.1 ensures guaranteed smooth, seamless smartphone performance.
The camera department comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera (Sony IMX398 sensor) with an f/1.7 aperture. There are AI features built-in and a 16-megapixel front camera with an AI Beauty mode and AR stickers. As far as video recording is concerned there’s no OIS, but Electronic stabilization is present.
On the software front, the device runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with its on custom skin called ColorOS 5.2. The phone packs in a 3500 mAh battery.

It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from October 11th.
