It’s been a very busy October as many smartphone makers were unleashing their products on us one by one. There have some very significant announcements this month including the Pixel 3 smartphone and also the global release of the iPhone XR. The OnePlus 6T is yet to come at the end of the month as well. However, November is also going to be filled with launches from many of the top smartphone brands in the country.
Huawei Mate 20
While the smartphone has been announced for the global audience, it seems that Huawei is bringing its signature flagship product to the Indian markets in November. There seems to be no official release date as of now but people are speculating it to be somewhere around the middle of the month. The phone comes with Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 chipset and also an improved triple camera system and as per reports by BGR, it should be priced at the very high end of the spectrum with estimates ranging from Rs 60,000 starting. This is due to the variety of options that the phone brings.
Galaxy A9 Star
This is another smartphone that has already been unveiled in global markets but is yet to hit the Indian subcontinent. The A9 is the very first smartphone that features a quad-camera setup. The A9’s camera setup features a 24 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, 10 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and a 5 MP depth sensor of f/2.2 aperture. Price as per a report by 91Mobiles is estimated to be around Rs 35,000.
Redmi Note 6 Pro
This happens to be a device that has already seen the light of day in the Chinese markets and since India is such a money grabber for Xiaomi, it is quite obvious that the phone will be coming to India as well. The phone also features a notched full-HD+ display, Android Oreo with MIUI, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. This happens to be the first Redmi Note phone that comes with a notch. The expected price for this smartphone as per a report by 91Mobiles is rumoured to be somewhere around Rs 15,000.
Nokia 7.1 Plus
The Nokia 7.1 Plus hasn’t been made official yet but we expect the device to come to Indian markets very soon next month. The Nokia 7.1 Plus could very well be the first Snapdragon 710 powered smartphone in the country. The notch is said to be coming to the Nokia 7.1 Plus which means that there will be more screen real-estate than before. The price of this smartphone is estimated to be somewhere around the range of Rs 18,000 – Rs 25,000.
While the phone releases on 30th October, the OnePlus 6T will be hitting Indian stores on November 6th. It will be sporting a water drop-notch like the Oppo F9 Pro along with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and it just had its full specs sheet leaked well before release.
