Last Tuesday, Xiaomi announced the ‘Mi Exchange’ Programme which allows smartphone users to trade in their old devices for a new Xiaomi smartphone. Powered by Cashify, this unique trade-in programme greatly reduces the cost for end consumers who are looking to buy Xiaomi smartphones.
How it works:
- You have to carry your old smartphone to the nearest Mi Home. Based on metrics such as present phone condition, age, wear and tear, our team will unlock the best market price for your device. If you agree to sell your phone for the price offered, the same amount will be adjusted against the price of the new Xiaomi smartphone that you are looking to buy. You can even check the exchange value for your device prior to your visit to the Mi Home by checking the resale price manually on the Cashify app.
- Additionally, you can even schedule a pickup from your home, which is carried out by the Cashify personnel. In this case, you will have to pay the full price for your new Xiaomi phone at the Mi Home store, and the price for your old phone will be reimbursed at the time of the pickup of your old mobile phone.
Terms and conditions:
- This phone exchange program is run by Cashify at all Mi homes. You can check out your nearest Mi Home at http://www.mi.com/in/service/mihome/
- The customer can exchange only one device (that is listed on Cashify) with an available Xiaomi phone at any Mi home.
- The resale value of the phone is determined by the Cashify app. The final quote is solely based on metrics such as present phone condition, age, wear, and tear.
- We will not entertain any negotiation on the proposed exchange price.
- The customer will get an e-receipt through Cashify for his old device.
- The customer can also get a pickup service of the old phone if required. In this case, the customer will have to pay the entire amount for the new phone at the store during the time of purchase and schedule a pickup call for his old device. Cashify shall be sending an executive to collect the device as per the decided time and pay the customer.
- The customer will not be entertained to make any further changes post the exchange.
