The smartphone market is huge – hundreds of phones are launched every quarter. While most have some signature specifications to differentiate them from each other, it can get pretty confusing to pick the most promising ones. Here’s a list of top 5 smartphones the world is waiting for release, in the last quarter of 2017.
#1 – Google Pixel 2
The successor to last year’s Pixel smartphone is expected to sport a 4.97-inch display with full HD resolution and 4 GB of RAM. It will run Android 8 Oreo. This time, it will include front-facing stereo speakers. The Pixel 2 is tipped to be a single SIM smartphone and is rumored to pack 32 GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. It launches on October 4th.
#2 – iPhone X
The charm of iPhone X is its display – a 5.8-inch super Retina screen fills the hand and dazzles your eyes. It is water and dust resistant and doesn’t have your familiar touch ID anymore. This time, Apple has introduced a new way of unlocking the phone – through Face ID. The iPhone X comes with an improved camera and wireless charging. It will be available for buying starting November 3.
#3 – Moto G5S +
The G5S+ is the Motorola’s first smartphone to feature a dual-lens rear camera. Bringing this blockbuster to life is an impressive 13.97 cm full HD display. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage, and you can easily add up to 128 GB more through an optional micro SD card. The 3000 mAh all-day battery holds enough power to get you through your day. On the inside, it gives you a blazing fast 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, and 4 GB RAM. It is available at the price of Rs. 15,999.

The Vivo V7+ smartphone also packs in a graphics processor and 64 GB of internal storage, but unfortunately does not support expandable storage. It runs Android 7 and is powered by a 3150 mAh battery. It is available at the price of Rs. 21,990.
#5 – iPhone 8
The latest iPhones will finally support wireless charging. The iPhone 8 features a 12-megapixel primary camera. This device will ship with Apple’s latest software – iOS 11, which released to the public just recently. It will be available in two storage capacities – 64 GB and 256 GB. While it does not have a dual camera, users wanting such hardware can easily pick the iPhone 8 Plus.
