The Chinese smartphone maker itself put out a teaser revealing some key highlights of the mid-range smartphone regarding its face unlock feature. The company has claimed that the face unlock feature or FaceWake can unlock the device in about 0.1 seconds. Not only is this blazing fast but a new leak also sheds light on some other detail that will be blazing fast, its chipset.
Leaked images show a picture of what could be the be Vivo X20 handset with the settings page open and a Snapdragon 660 chipset was spotted on it.
Claims about the X20 Plus and the recently launched V7 Plus models having any similarities were put to rest by this discovery. The V7 Plus was announced in India with a budget-level Snapdragon 450 chipset.
According to the rest of the details, the new Vivo X20 Plus is mostly going to have a 5.99-inch 18:9 Full View display with a 6 GB RAM for both the X20 and X20 Plus models. The devices should have a 3,500 mAh battery and run on Android Nougat 7.1. The camera can be expected to have the same 24 MP unit on the front of V7 Plus. However unlike, the V7 Plus, the X20 devices are expected to feature all-metal builds.
