A major distinction between the new Note and its old counterpart is its camera. The primary highlight of the Redmi Note 6 Pro is supposed to be the quadruple-camera setup. Two sensors at the back and the other two in the front for selfies.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro redefined the budget smartphone segment by offering unbeatable specs at astounding rates. Let’s take a look at what its successor has to offer us in terms of features.

Spec-sheet

The chipset powering the device is similar to Note 5 Pro. It features the same Snapdragon 636 processor. Along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Theres also a high-end 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, a quadruple camera set-up is on board. The smartphone features a dual camera set up at the back with a 12MP and a 5MP lens. Up front, the phone features a 20MP and a 2MP unit.  Both sets of cameras are equipped with Artificial Intelligence.

Another distinction between old Note and new one is that the latter will sport a ‘notch’. The Note 6 Pro will feature a 6.24-inch FHD plus resolution display. The screen-to-body ratio is 87.6 percent. The screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro will run on Android Oreo, based on MIUI 10. Battery capacity is 4,000mAh. Fingerprint reader is on the back with facial unlock.

The new Note will be available in four colour variants: Blue, Red, Black and Rose Gold. Xiaomi has priced the Note 6 Pro THB 7000(4GB variant) in Thailand.
