A. During this ongoing pandemic, the entire world is at a standstill. The education department had no option but to shift online. This has gravely impacted lakhs of students in India. Having uninterrupted access to the internet is a luxury here. Keeping this in mind, the United Nations Foundation’s GirlUp Nooर decided to step in. Project Dor plans to collect used mobile phones, PCs, laptops, etc. These devices will be provided to students who are in actual need of these. On top of this, we'll help them with the studies and monitor their progress.
A. Any smartphones supporting 4G connectivity can be donated. In case it’s required, the devices collected will go for refurbishing and correction. A set of phones will be provided to the children which will also carry a warranty of 6 months.
A. Just follow the steps above to schedule a pickup. Our executive will then come to your doorstep and collect the device for free.
A. Yes, it’s safe. To ensure proper data and ownership security, we will erase the device completely of any data.
A. Yes, copies of your identity and address proof will be required. A bonafide form may also be needed to be signed by you for security purposes.
