Coming in with specs like a 6.43-inch display, a triple-camera setup, an octa-core processor and a massive battery, the Poco C3 is here to make a statement. Targeted at the budget segment, Poco is launching a smartphone for every segment to cement its arrival.

The Poco C3 is available in two storage and memory variants. The 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant price in India is kept as ₹7,499 while the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant costs ₹8,999. The Poco C3 will be going on sale via Flipkart starting 16th of October. This is a strong budget competitor if you compare it with the other variants coming from brands like Realme, Xiaomi and Infinix.

Poco C3 has a polycarbonate back with some slanted lines running which give it great design and also provides a better grip on the device. On the backside of the device, we have the triple-camera setup, LED flash and the POCO branding below the camera. On the front, we have the display with a teardrop style notch for the front camera to reside in. The power and the volume buttons are placed on the right side of the device for better access. On the bottom, we have the micro USB port, the loudspeaker and the microphone while the headphone jack can be found on the top of the phone.
Poco C3 when held in hands is 9mm thick and weighs in at 194 grams which is due to the massive battery inside. The Poco C3 is available in Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black colours.
Poco C3 is equipped with a 6.53-inch 720 by 1600 pixels HD+ IPS LCD panel. There are some bezels around the device despite the 80.3 per cent of the screen to body ratio. The display is of 20:9 aspect ratio and has a pixel density of 270ppi. There is a teardrop-shaped notch on the display for the front camera. The display also has TUV Rheinland Reading Mode Certification which ensures protection of one’s eyes from harmful blue light.
Inside, the Poco C3 is being powered by the Mediatek Helio G35 octa-core processor. It is built on a 12nm node and can clock up to 2.3Ghz. To help with the memory, we have options of either 3GB of RAM or 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, we have 32GB or 64GB of storage options available. The storage can be expanded by the dedicated microSD card slot in the device.
Poco C3 is running on Android 10 with the custom skin of MIUI 12 on top of it.
The camera department on Poco C3 is handled by a triple-camera setup on the back and a single camera on the front.
The triple-camera setup consists of a 13MP main sensor with PDAF, a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor. Lighting is handled by the LED flashlight provided. The video output is capped out at 1080p at 30fps. The front camera is a 5MP wide sensor with HDR enabled. The video output via this camera is also capped at 1080p at 30fps.
Poco C3 has a massive 5000mAh Li-Po battery which is powering all of the internals of the device. The battery can be charged at a maximum of 10W via the included power brick. There is mention of 586 hours of standby time, 37 hours of VoLTE calling, 95 hours of music playback, 31 hours of video playback, or up to 14 hours of non-stop gaming on a single full charge. Additionally, the Better Battery 2.0 feature ensures that the battery has about 25% more lifespan.
Poco C3 is a nice package of the specifications and the features which is being offered in a decent body for a smartphone with this price tag. The Poco C3 is worth to look at if going for a smartphone under ₹10k.
