> type cd, followed by the location of file

> to this command add the name of the file

> download maczip.dmg

> open maczip, click on create archive

> select the file 

> click on add password

> enter and verify the password 

> lastly, click on compress

Encrypt Zip Files On Mac Using Archiver 4

> download archiver 

> click on try

> drag and drop the file you want to compress

> click on archive

>choose zip

> enter and verify password

> tap the archive button
