Nearby Share In MacOS!

Google recently released the Beta version of Nearby Share for Windows, to transfer apps between Android Smartphones and Windows PC!

Unfortunately for Android users with a Mac , there was no method available to do the same.

Mishaal Rahmaan, a developer has created NearDrop, a file transfer app available on GitHub

NearDrop allows Mac users to receive files from an Android Smartphone.

As of now, transfers from Mac to Android Device is not available and it only works on WiFi for now.

Steps to transfer files: Download NearbyDrop on your Mac from GitHub Make sure your Mac is Visible To Nearby Devices While sharing files from your Android device, select Nearby Share, and tap on your MacOS device' name to transfer files to your Mac.
