WhatsApp is rolling out a feature designed to
protect users
from
unwanted calls
on the messaging platform
Whatsapp will allow users to simply toggle a setting that will
silence calls
from
spam
and
nuisance
callers
This feature will
silence
the calls from
unknown numbers
but it will still display the call in the
notification
area and inside the app
Android users can enable this feature by going to
Settings
> Privacy>
Calls
>Select Silence unknown callers
While iPhone users can enable this feature by visiting
Settings
>Privacy>
Calls
>Select Silence Unknown Callers
