Vivo X90 Review: A Flagship Experience (Nov 2024)

DESIGN

The vivo X90 offers a curved display with a "Big Eye" camera module and solid build quality; however, the placement of the under-display fingerprint scanner is inconvenient.

DISPLAY

Featuring 1,300 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate, the vivo X90 provides a vibrant display with HDR10+ support and excellent outdoor visibility, enhancing both gaming and media viewing experiences.

PERFORMANCE

Powered by the Dimensity 9200 and Funtouch OS 13, the vivo X90 is responsive and efficient for daily use, but occasional overheating occurs, and multitasking lags with button navigation.

BATTERY LIFE

The 120W fast charging quickly powers the device, but the battery may drain faster due to performance and refresh rate settings, although minor improvements are needed in optimization.

CAMERA

With ZEISS, the triple rear camera setup delivers high-quality photos; however, issues such as slight overheating during extensive photography or recording sessions may persist.

vERDICT

The vivo X90 is a powerful option in the premium mid-range category with strong imaging capabilities, a vivid display, and robust performance, though its software quirks and design limitations may be drawbacks for some users.
