The newly arrived Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has been taking over the budget flagships category, where it takes on the OnePlus 7T, the ROG Phone 2 and the iPhone 11. But the most interesting topic that the people are confused about is “How Does it Compare to Apple’s iPhone 11”, and that’s what we will be finding out today.

The ergonomics of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is excellent and the device feels pretty lightweight, and in terms of the screen to body ratio, the S10 Lite has an almost all-screen display with a centered punch-hole cutout. The body is made out of glass and plastic which Samsung tends to call as “Glastic”. This one’s kind of an easy decision and based on personal preference when it comes to the body. 

On the other hand, the more expensive iPhone 11 has an interesting dual-camera setup on the back inside the matte squarish housing, which the people hated at the start. On the front, the iPhone 11 completely looses out to the S10 Lite. The iPhone 11 has a humungous notch as compared to the punch hole on the S10 Lite. The curves on the S10 Lite make it feel easier to hold and provide a much better grip overall. So, if you’re looking for a premium device, they both give you that but the Galaxy S10 gives you a much lighter feel.

One of the most important things in a smartphone, a user wants and checks before buying. In fact, this is a pretty easy part to compare in these two phones. The Galaxy S10 Lite impresses with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Display having a centered punch hole allowing camera cutout for a better full-screen viewing experience. While the display on the iPhone 11 is a 6.1-inch HD+ IPS LCD Display with the huge notch that everybody in 2020 hates.

The display these phones have a separation of day and night, the iPhone 11 is an HD+ Display for a phone costing 60k, while the S10 Lite has a much bigger screen and a higher resolution display, and hence in terms of the display, the S10 Lite wins it clearly. Furthermore, The display on the Galaxy S10 Lite is brighter, has a greater resolution and has better sharpness.

Now moving on to the Cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite features an excellent triple rear camera setup on the back comprising of a primary 48MP sensor +  a 12MP Wide-Angled Lens + a 5MP Macro Shooter as well. On the other hand, the expensive iPhone 11 has a dual 12MP camera shooter with a primary 12MP lens + a 12MP Ultra Wide Shooter.

The photos taken with the iPhone 11 have better colors, dynamic range and autofocus. Also with the secondary Ultra-Wide angled lens, the iPhone excels and there is literally no comparison of the photos shot with the iPhone 11 and the S10 Lite. While the cameras on the S10 Lite are not bad, they just can’t perform in terms of photography with the iPhone 11.

Photos taken from Apple’s new Night Mode on the iPhone 11 excels by taking well-exposed images, and brightness. Talking about the portrait mode, the iPhone 11 beats the S10 Lite here as well, the photos shot have better details, bokeh, better skin tones and dynamic range. The iPhones have generally been known for their video capabilities, and here directly the iPhone 11 wins over the Galaxy S10 Lite. For Selfies though, Galaxy S10 Lite shines as the 32MP selfie camera captures better details, and maintains good skin tones.

One section where the iPhone 11 shines without any major issues is the performance. The iPhone 11, with its flagship Apple’s A13 Bionic Hexa-core CPU and a 4-Core GPU excels and beats the S10 Lite in terms of performance. Considering the Galaxy S10 Lite which has 2019’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset, performs well and can handle any tasks, but can’t reach up to the mark of the iPhone.

The 7nm built Apple A13 Bionic Chipset is clearly just more powerful and efficient. As an additional bonus, Apple keeps on providing updates for a longer period than any Android smartphone. So if you want a device beastly in terms of power, opt for the iPhone 11.

The iPhone 11 just offers a greater battery life than the Galaxy S10 Lite, all thanks to the better optimization of iOS and a power-efficient A13 Bionic Chip. In terms of charging, the Galaxy S10 Lite is bundled with a 25W fast charger in the box. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 has support for wireless charging and is bundled with a 10W charger in the box.

Audio and Speakers:

The iPhone 11 has better sounding and louder speakers than the S10 Lite, it is not that the speakers on the S10 Lite are worse, but the iPhone 11’s speakers have better bass and depth output from the speakers. Also, both the phones miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack and users will need to either use an adapter or wireless earphones.
