This vertical camera module differs from the diagonal one on the Apple iPhone 13, Apple iPhone 14 and Apple iPhone 15 series. Furthermore, it resembles the Apple iPhone 11 except for the LED flash outside the camera module. This change will likely enable spatial video recording support for these base iPhones.

The Apple iPhone 16 Pro and the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max will maintain the same design as their predecessor with a triple camera setup. However, these phones will have a larger display than the iPhone 15 Pro series.
