Lava has announced it will soon launch the Lava O2 smartphone in India. It will arrive as the successor to the Lava O1 smartphone from last year and claims to be the fastest phone in its segment. The phone will go on sale via Amazon and will feature a dual-camera setup. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Lava O2, including its specifications and launch date.
Lava O2 To Launch On March 22 In India
The Lava O2 is confirmed to launch in India on the date March 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST. The phone will use the UniSoc T616 chipset and have an AnTuTu score of more than 2,80,000.

It will be available on Amazon in Majestic Purple and Green. The phone will have 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Furthermore, the Lava O2 will launch with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.It will ship with Android 13 out of the box and will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor
According to the teaser, it will have a dual camera setup on the back with an LED flash. It will boast a 50-megapixel primary AI camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The Lava O2 will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.In addition, the phone will offer an AG Glass Back panel apart from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.It is likely to launch at a price tag of around Rs.7,000 to Rs.8,000 similar to the Lava O1.
