OnePlus Nord 2 Camera Details Leaked, Confirmed Software Support

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of their OnePlus Nord 2 5G. Moreover, the device has appeared in several leaks lately. Just yesterday, the Nord 2 5G appeared in a big leak which reveals the complete design of the smartphone. However, now in a recent leak, it says that the phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera. In addition, the company is also dropping teasers as the 22nd July launch inches closer confirming the leaks.

OnePlus Nord 2 Camera Details

Ahead of the launch, some details around the device’s camera module have leaked online. Tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that the Nord 2’s triple-camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera. Moreover, the primary camera will support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). This is the same sensor that is on the OPPO Find X3 Pro and the OnePlus 9 series’ ultrawide camera.

Meanwhile, previous reports hinted that the device will feature an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP tertiary sensor. However, OnePlus is yet to officially confirm the device’s camera module details. So, just in few days, we can get confirmation on the OnePlus Nord 2 camera details. Today OnePlus has also shared its software support plans on Twitter. According to the company, the OnePlus Nord 2 will get two big Android versions and three years of security updates.

Although this is not in the same league as its flagship – it is better than the Nord N series. OnePlus Nord 2 has surfaced several leaks already whereas some details are confirmed some are still waiting for confirmation.

Leaks on Nord 2 5G

According to the company, Nord 2 5G will reportedly come with a 6.43-inches full-HD+ display. Additionally, it will be a Fluid AMOLED display that features a 90Hz fast refresh rate. Moreover, we can also see an in-display fingerprint scanner on the device. The display will also come with HDR10+ certification.

On the processor front, the will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Besides, we will see another variant that comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

For photos and videos, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor. Additionally, we will also see a 2-megapixel macro sensor in the setup. On the front, the smartphone will feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Lastly, the Nord 2 5G will be fueled by a decent 4,500mAh battery.
