Poco F6 India Launch Imminent; Will Be Rebrand Of This Phone

The Poco F6 is perhaps one of the most anticipated phones of this month. It will be the successor to last year’s highly popular Poco F5, with significant upgrades. It has received certification from NTBC, hinting at an imminent global launch. Moreover, it will likely be the first phone in India to bring a new flagship chipset. Poco F6 Could Launch In India Soon, Receives NTBC Certification

Poco F6 is one step closer to its global launch with certification on the Thailand NTBC website. Furthermore, the phone will have the model number 24069PC21G, similar to an upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Turbo with the model number 24069RA21C.

This continues the previous trend of Xiaomi branding its Chinese variant for the global market. For instance, the Poco F5 was a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo from China. There is also speculation that the phone could be another variant of the recently unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3.

Thanks to leaks and rumours, we already know most of the specifications of the upcoming Poco F6. It will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. We can also expect Gorilla Glass Victus for protection and a 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition, the Poco F6 could be the first phone to launch in India with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. For optics, it will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 for ultrawide and a third OmniVision OB20B40 lens.
