Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown-System Requirements & Release Date

Ubisoft has revealed the gameplay trailer for its upcoming game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The iconic Prince of Persia franchise is making a return to the side-scroller genre instead of a typical 3D one.

This marks the franchise’s return to its roots as the first Prince of Persia game debuted in 1989, which was a 2D side scroller. Moreover, the Metrovoidvania-style game tries to appeal to the original fanbase with a new protagonist and storyline as players head off to an exciting adventure.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Release Date

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown features a new protagonist named Sargon, a member of the Immortals warrior clan. Furthermore, in his quest to rescue kidnapped Prince Ghassan, Sargon must travel to the cursed city of Mount Qaf.

The new game features fast, fluid movement with time-based powers similar to the Sands of Time. There are various obstacles such as polearms, spikes and challenging enemies with swords and other weapons.

As players progress through the story, they can unlock new skills, upgrade their weapons and unlock fast travel stations to explore new map sections. Furthermore, the new Prince of Persia offers an exciting story set in the mythological Persian world.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has a release date of January 18, 2024, for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Amazon Luna and PC. Moreover, those who purchase the Deluxe Edition will get early access to the game starting January 15, 2024.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is currently available for pre-order for a price of Rs.2,499 for the standard edition and Rs.2,999 for the Deluxe Edition on the Epic Games Store.

Furthermore, Deluxe Edition owners will get the Immortals outfit, Prosperity Bird Amulet and the Digital Adventure Book. They also receive early access to the game starting January 15.

Ubisoft+ subscribers will also have early access to the game with the Deluxe edition with their membership. This membership costs € 14,99 (around Rs.1,357) and includes access to all Ubisoft games, including the latest releases.
