Sony has announced its Summer Sale in India, bringing an attractive discount on the Sony PS5 Slim. The Sony PlayStation 5 debuted in the country earlier this month bringing upgrades over the standard PS5 console. It features a slimmer design and larger storage capacity over the standard. The PS5 Slim will be available in the country with a Rs.5,000 discount.
Sony PS5 Slim Available Under Rs.50,000
The Sony PS5 Slim will be available in India with a Rs.5,000 discount. The digital edition of the console will be on sale for Rs.49,990, down from its original price of Rs.54,990.

Furthermore, this sale on the PS5 slim will only apply to the models CFI-2008A01 and CFI-2008B01. It will be available at Amazon, Blinkit, Croma, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and other retailers.
The sale on the PS5 Slim will start on May 1, 2024, and continue until May 14, 2024, until stocks last. Furthermore, Sony previously announced a promo offer on the standard PS5, bringing a Rs.13,000 discount on the console.

This sale is ongoing until April 30; however, the PS5 Slim is not included in the offer. This offer on the regular PS5 (CFI-1208A01R) will continue until April 30, 2024.
The main differences between the PS5 and the PS5 Slim are the reduction in weight by 24 per cent and volume by 30 per cent. Furthermore, the PS5 Slim packs 1TB of storage over the 825GB in the standard PS5.

Apart from these minor upgrades, the rest of the console remains the same as the standard PS5 console. The PS5 Slim recently arrived on sale on Blinkit, offering delivery within 10 minutes to customers.
