Tecno already announced its plan to bring Tecno Pova 2 to the markets last month. Now, a recent teaser post suggests that the phone will finally make its way soon to India. Moreover, the CEO of Transsion Holdings (parent company of Tecno) has confirmed one important Pova2 specification. According to his tweet, the company is launching a new handset with a 7000mAh battery. The teaser image also showed a glimpse of the handset confirming that it’s indeed the Pova 2.
Meanwhile, this smartphone is not exactly a brand new launch – it is already available in the Philippines. Although this is the first time Tecno Pova 2 is coming to other markets. But the launch date for its India launch is still unknown. However, we will come to know more of the details in the coming days.

Tecno POVA 2 Specifications
It features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the display also houses a punch-hole notch.
Under the hood, a MediaTek Helio G85 powers the smartphone, along with 6GB of RAM and 126GB of storage. The graphics tasks on the Tecno Pova 2 are taken care of by an integrated Mali G52 GPU.

Moving on to optics, the Tecno Pova 2 packs quad rear cameras, including a 48MP sensor, 2MP macro lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a mystery sensor. An 8MP module handles selfies and video calls. On the other hand, other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C port.
Tecno brings it in four color variants, namely Polar Silver, Power Blue, Dazzle Black. Moreover, its price in the Philippines starts at 7,990 Philippine Peso (approx Rs 11,800). However, Tecno Pova 2 price in India could be lower, presumably around the Rs 9,999 region.
