For now, Samsung’s Galaxy M-series has three devices: M10, M20 and M30. While the Galaxy M10 falls in the sub-10k bracket and is a great budget phone, the Galaxy M20 falls in the 10-13k bracket. Now, what’s left to see is what changes has Samsung made in the Galaxy M20 and if indeed, it is value for money.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 is available in two configurations: one with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, and another with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Unfortunately, all variants of this phone are no longer available because Samsung has introduced newer phones in the M20 series, such as the M21.
The phone is unfortuntely no longer available on Amazon, Flipkart, or any other major retailer.
The Galaxy M20 is loaded with incredible specs. First, there is the high-resolution 6.3-inch TFT LCD screen that ensures you have an enjoyable and pleasant viewing experience. Second, it runs on Samsung’s latest processor – the Exynos 7904.
It features an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Third, it comes with a massive battery backup – a 5000 mAh battery with a USB Type-C port for fast charging.
The Galaxy M20 runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS with Samsung’s Experience 9.5 UI skin on top. It features a dual-camera setup in the rear – 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies, you get an 8MP camera on the front.
As for the memory configuration, you get two options – 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is priced at Rs. 10,990, and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage costing Rs. 12,990. The memory can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.
There are two colour variants for the phone – Ocean Blue and Charcoal Black (same as Galaxy M10).

The Samsung Galaxy M20 is the company’s effort to compete in the extremely competitive low-cost market with Xiaomi, Realme, Honor, and Asus. It has specs that are comparable to its competitors, as well as a highly contemporary all-screen design with a waterdrop-style notch. The Exynos 7904 CPU was built particularly for India’s budget market, and it performs admirably. The display is big and clear, and the battery life is excellent.
