Vivo Y51 Price in India
Vivo Y51 belongs to the mid-range price bracket and it was launched to compete with multiple smartphones from other brands like Realme, Asus, Redmi and Zenfone. Now speaking about the pricing of Vivo Y51, according to the official site of Vivo, is Rs.17,990 for the 8GB + 128GB storage.
Vivo Y51 showcases minimum bezels at the top and noticeable bezels at the bottom and it has a dew-drop notch at the top centre for housing the selfie camera. The rear panel is designed with a quad-camera setup placed on the diamond-shaped module at the top centre and beneath which is the LED flash. There is no fingerprint sensor on the rear side as the Vivo Y51 as it has been placed under the display.
The volume buttons along with the power button are located on the right edge and the left side is included with a SIM tray. The bottom houses a speaker grille, microphone and a Type-C charging port. The 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the top.
On the whole, the design of the Vivo Y51 is decent but with a weight of 186.7 grams, it might feel heavy in the hand.
Vivo Y51 supports a 6.38-inch Ace AMOLED display. The display is featuring a normal refresh rate along with 1080 pixels of resolution and 90% screen to body ratio. The screen of Vivo Y51 is FHD+ for displaying the images and videos as real as possible in greater detail. The only thing that is missing in this section is a higher refresh rate, the rest of the features are best.
Under the hood, Vivo Y51 is featuring a Snapdragon 665 processor. The chipset is associated with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage for managing smooth multi-tasking and storing huge data. You will get a separate micro SD card slot for expanding the internal storage up to 256GB. The chipset here is meant for carrying the normal usage and it is not meant for heavy gaming.
For running the device, there is Android 10 overlaid with the company’s interface Funtouch OS 10. The software appears close to Stock Android and you will be getting regular updates on company products.
This section of Vivo Y51 supports a Quad-camera setup in which there is a 48MP main camera, which comes with an aperture of f/1.8. The other cameras provided in the rear setup are 8MP super-wide-angle camera with 120-degree wide-angle and an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and another 2MP bokeh lens featuring an aperture of f/2.4. Also, there is a flash mounted below the rear camera setup. Here the best thing is that you can record videos up to 4K on this device.
On the front side, Vivo Y51 is stuffed with a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The front one supports 1080 pixel video recording.
Vivo has gone with a 4500 mAh battery for managing the power requirement of the Vivo Y51. The battery comes with standard capacity and it’s not impressively large, not worryingly small either. It will ensure a backup for a day at least. Also, the battery section comes with the 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging compatibility for refilling the battery with a breakneck speed.
Vivo Y51 comes with an excellent camera setup on both sides and a decent battery backup along with stunning design. But there is no 5G and the display is featuring a normal refresh rate, which means it is not meant for gaming. So if you are comfortable with these things then you can go with it or choose a decent smartphone from other brands at the same price with some additional features than this.
