A couple of days before, Redmi announced its Note 11 series and launched three new devices under this line-up. The latest devices are the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G, Xiaomi Note 11 Pro and the Xiaomi Note 11 Pro Plus. Speaking of the base models, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G, the device brings a 33W fast charging capacity with itself along with a large 5000 mAh battery and comes powered by the MediaTek 810 5G chipset along with multiple other features. Let’s take a look at all the features to know what it has got for the users.

The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G is priced starting at CNY 1,199 (about 14,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. Additionally, the phone is available in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB configurations for CNY 1,299 (about 16,400), CNY 1,499 (approximately 18,700), and CNY 1,699 (approximately 21,100), respectively. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G is available in three colours, including the Black Realm, Shallow Dream Galaxy, and Slight Mint.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Design 

What distinguishes the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G among the other two devices from this latest line-up are the curved edges on the rear side. The device features a camera module with the same appearance, however, the edges are curved here instead of the flat appearance. The rear panel looks shiny although the rear and the frame are made of plastic. Coming to the front, there is a punch-hole cutout at the top of the device and the bezels around the screen are somewhat noticeable. As for the fingerprint sensor, it comes integrated with the power button on the right side of the device. There is no IP certification and the absence of Gorilla Glass protection makes it prone to breakages.

The phone’s 6.6-inch 2400 x 1080 screen has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz, and the software may dynamically shift between the two rates in order to save battery life. It is still possible to see well in bright sunshine despite the fact that the 450 nits of brightness on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G is not very helpful.

However, the real camera output is rather good, and it is again within reasonable expectations, despite the fact that those statistics are not particularly flattering. For selfies, the device has got a 16MP sensor on the front.

Although the performance is not that strong in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G, the device still does well when compared with other devices from the same price segment. The battery section and the display are well versed and it is a better choice if not great for those looking for an affordable 5G device.
