    BGMI Lite: Launch Possibility Nearing

Battlegrounds Mobile India might get a “Lite” version very soon. This new information comes as developers have teased the BGMI Lite version in the works on their official discord channel. The anticipation for BGMI Lite is pretty normal as Lite version of PUBG Mobile also existed. Before the ban, PUBG Mobile Lite was a popular alternative for players with budget smartphones. Now, the latter also offered similar features with lower graphics to reduce the load on low-end processors. Moreover, in the same way, the new BGMI Lite will offer a similar experience. It can launch soon, according to reports.

BGMI Lite: Launch Possibility Nearing

The official Discord channel of BGMI has asked players why they wanted a Lite version of the app to be released. It includes four poll options for players to choose from:

  1. I can’t play BGMI on my low-end device.
  2. I can play BGMI, but I’ll have better frame rates and performance in Lite version on my device.
  3. I spent money in Lite version and want to transfer my data/inventory.
  4. I like the maps and Skins in Lite version.

Although the poll does not really reveal much; but the chances of Krafton developers working to bring out a Lite version are real. As PUBG and its Lite version is not available in India, this void will be filled with this new possible launch. It will also bring in players to comfortably play BGMI via the new version. In addition, it could be a good strategy for increasing the market share of the game. Popular eSports gamer Abhijeet “Ghatak”  has even mentioned that the BGMI Lite game could launch as soon as in December, 2021.
