iQOO 8 Pro Appears on Google Play Console; What to Expect?

The iQOO 8 Pro 5G has just made another round of the internet. This iQOO 8 series of smartphones have been surfacing online every now and then. The series went official in China back in August, 2021. Recently, we got to know that the iQOO 8 Pro received its Indian BIS certification. This unveiled that the India launch of the device is indeed imminent.

Now, noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to unveil that the flagship smartphone has now appeared on the Google Play Console listing. In addition, it has also been spotted on the Google Supported Devices list. Both these listings hint at the iQOO 8 release date in India is right around the corner.

iQOO 8 Pro Specifications

Thanks to the China launch of the device, we already know everything about it in terms of specifications. Starting with the display, the flagship device sports a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. We also get to see a fast 120Hz refresh rate panel alongside an aspect ratio of 20:9.

On the processor front, the iQOO 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. This octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with the Adreno 660 GPU. The processor and GPU are coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

For photos and videos, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel IMX766V primary sensor with gimbal stabilisation. We get to see a 48-megapixel secondary ultra-wide angle sensor and a 16-megapixel portrait sensor. At the front, the smartphone flaunts a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

When it comes to battery, the iQOO 8 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery. This battery capacity pairs up with up 120W fast charging support. It also brings 50W wireless fast charging support to the table. In terms of dimensions, it measures 165.01×75.2×9.19mm and weighs 202.5 grams. The Pro model also boasts a ultrasonic 3D wide-area in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
