The Vivo X80 series the successor to the Vivo X70, expects to debut in China later this month. The vanilla X80 and Vivo X80 Pro are recently on TENAA, revealing important hardware detail. One can expect the phones to debut in India later this year. Now, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has given the key specifications of the vanilla X80, some of which correspond to a previous TENAA listing.

This comes amid the excitement surrounding the Vivo X Fold and Vivo Pad. These are brand’s first foldable phone and tablet, which will be in China on April 11, 2022.

The smartphone is to have a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with an FHD+ pixels resolution, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a 120Hz refresh rate, and DC-Dimming, according to Digital Chat Station. We can assume it will include HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. According to previous reports, the phone will have a 6.5-inch screen.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC is said to power the phone. The smartphone will have an X-axis linear motor for vivid tactile feedback and a 4,000mm square VC chamber for heat dissipation.

X80 Pro will use the same chipset and have a similar display size to the X80. The screen on the Vivo X80 Pro Plus, on the other hand, may be slightly more prominent. Previous reports claim that the phone will have 12GB LPDDR4 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone is to have a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel sensor. It has a 13-megapixel secondary camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 shooter. It will have a 44-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The leaked smartphone X80 specifications are similar to the X80 Pro spec sheet. The primary distinctions between the two phones will be out only after their official release. The smartphone series may release on the same day as the Vivo X Fold 5G.
