Motorola G Power (2021) Price in India

Motorola G Power (2021) comes in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 34GB internal storage and another with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. As for the pricing, the Motorola G Power 2021 price for the 3GB RAM variant is $199.99, which translates into Rs.14,631 and for the 4GB RAM variant, the price is $249.99, converting into Rs.18,289. Considering the Motorola G Power 2021 specifications with its predecessors, the device turns out to be overpriced.

Starting with the build quality, Moto G Power (2021) comes with the same plastic body as in other smartphones belonging to the G-series from the last year. The display size is also same when compared to its predecessors and there is a thick chin at the bottom and noticeable bezels around the display long with a punch-hole at the top-right corner for housing the selfie camera. Apart from this, the smartphone has got the water-repellent body.

Speaking of the rear, the plastic panel features rounded edges for making the device comfortable to hold and there is a square-shaped camera module housing the triple-camera setup along with the LED flash at the top centre position, below which there is the logo from the Motorola brand. The rear panel comes with a unique pattern for making the surface free from fingerprint smudges.

The overall weight of Moto G Power (2021) is 206.5 grams and the thickness is 9.49mm owing to the 5000 mAh huge battery under the hood. On the right side, there is a fingerprint sensor integrated on the power button and a volume rocker. The left side has got space for the SIM tray, while as the bottom side comes with the speaker grille and the Type-C charging port and the top side features the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Motorola Moto G Power (2021) comes with a large 6.6-inch Max Vision display. The technology that has been used while designing the display is IPS. Although the smartphone screen is big, it comes at the cost of resolution. Yes, the 720p display is something that you can call a downfall for Moto G Power (2021). The other features included are an Aspect ratio of 20:9, 87% Active Area-Touch Panel and a pixel density of 267PPI.

Although we were expecting Moto G Power (2021) to be 5G enabled, the case is not so. It doesn’t feature 5G connectivity. Also, Moto G Power (2021) has been stuffed with a less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, which is available in the Moto G9 Play also. The chipset comes along with 3GB/4GB RAM and 3GB/4GB internal storage, with storage expansion up to 512GB. While the expectations were to have Moto G Power (2021) with Android 11, but you will be getting the same Android 10, seen in earlier devices also, which is not bad at all.

Moto G Power (2021) is mounted with a 48MP primary camera on the rear side, featuring an aperture of f/1.7. Along with the primary camera, the smartphone is provided with 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP with f/2.2 aperture Depth sensor. On the front side, the smartphone is stuffed with an 8MP selfie camera, featuring an aperture of f/2.0.

Comparing this camera setup with the previous year G-series smartphones, Motorola has failed here to offer a decent photography experience, although, in good lightening conditions, you might be able to capture decent shots, as soon as the lighting conditions are not got, the picture quality will deteriorate eventually.

If you love to use your smartphone continuously and spend more time while surfing the internet, watching videos, capturing pictures, music, shopping and many more things, then here is something interesting for you.  Moto G Power (2021) comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery, ensuring usage for two full days without recharging your smartphone. For a quick refill, the smartphone supports 10W rapid charging and 15W TurboPower charging. The other feature included is the Type-C charging port.

So, here it goes, the Moto G Power (2021) is just good for its huge battery and for the rest, there is a meagre processor, average camera setup and a down-graded display. looking at the price tag, there are multiple smartphones from Realme and Xiaomi brand, offering much more than what has been offered in this device.
