When it comes to the exterior design and the arrangement of rear camera sensors, the plastic back comes with a vertical triple-camera set-up on the top left corner along with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor with the Motorola logo engraved on it, for unlocking the device. Since Moto G40 Fusion. is holding a huge battery inside, it makes this device somewhat heavy and thick to hold, but the water repellent design makes it worthwhile.

On the front side, Moto G40 Fusion is designed with a punch-hole at the top centre for housing the selfie camera.
