Three new Indian consumer plans were announced last month by Disney+ Hotstar OTT Platform. The previous subscription plans will be replaced by these new ones. Existing users must subscribe to the three new Disney+ Hotstar plans starting September 1 in order to continue enjoying the video streaming platform and view their favourite movies and web series without interruption.
In India, Disney+ Hotstar subscription plans start at Rs 499 and go up to Rs 1499 for an annual membership. Currently, Disney+ Hotstar offers three membership plans to Indian customers: a Rs 299 monthly plan, a Rs 399 VIP yearly plan, and a Rs 1499 annual subscription pack.

New Disney+ Hotstar Plans and Prices
Three new subscription plans for Disney+ Hotstar have been announced: Rs 499, Rs 899, and Rs 1499. The Rs 499 subscription plan offers HD quality video access for a one-year duration. Only mobile customers are eligible for this plan. So, if you solely use your phone to view content, this one should make sense and be cost-effective.

The Rs 899 subscription plan provides access to 2 screens/devices including HD quality content. This subscription package, unlike the cheapest Rs 299 plan, may be used on a laptop, TV, and smartphone.
There is also a yearly plan. Disney+ Hotstar’s most premium subscription plan is Rs 1499 and includes access to 4 screens/devices as well as 4K video streaming. This is the most expensive of the three plans, with a one-year validity period.
Disney+ Hotstar has recently confirmed that all current Disney+ Hotstar VIP users will receive a free upgrade to a mobile phone for the remainder of their subscription period. This means that VIP users will now be able to access all of the platform’s content without limitation. This will also apply to people who have received a Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription from a telecom provider.
