The new Google Pixel Smartwatch is finally here. The smartwatch made its debut today at the Made By Google Event which was held in Brooklyn, NY. It was live-streamed on the official Youtube Channel Google.
The first-ever round-shaped dial Google Smartwatch is here. It was unveiled at the Google IO event in May. They can function with Android smartphones. But will work efficiently with the Pixel phones just like the Pixels Buds earbuds.
According to Google, the new Pixel smartwatch is made with 80per cent recycled stainless steel which is the company’s sustainable goal.
Google Pixel Smartwatch Features
The new smartwatch has a 3D round glass dial with touch support. It will function on WearOS. As Google has also combined Fitbit features in it. As the launch details reveal, the watch is for both fitness tracking and its on-device ML(machine learning) capabilities.
It will also provide daily readiness scores to the users. That is available in Fitbit charge 5 and newer smartwatches. It also will provide the most accurate heart rate tracker. The design of the watch is inspired by the surface of water droplets. The dial comes in three colours – black, silver, and gold.

The users can also download third-party apps like Spotify and Strava on the watch itself. They can also check the notifications from Google’s in-house apps like Maps and Gmail. The users can also control nest devices with the watch. It also offers full-day battery life.
Google Pixel Smartwatch Prices and Availability
The starting price of the Bluetooth variant is $349 (roughly Rs. 28,600). The LTE variant starts at $399 (roughly Rs. 32,700). The details of the prices in India are still unknown.
The pre-orders will start from today onwards in the selected countries. The customers will avail of six months free Fitbit premium subscription.
