Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G Launched: Price, Specs

Earlier this year, Huawei launched their Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition and last year, the Huawei Nova 8 SE 5G went official. Now, the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G has finally been launched in China. There have been multiple variants and models in the Nova 8 SE series of devices. This is the fifth one in the series, taking into account the Huawei Nova 8 SE Youth and another 8 SE 5G variant.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G Specifications

Starting off with the display, the smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ OLED display. In addition, the display comes with a teardrop notch design at the front. We also get to see a DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage alongside an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

On the processor front, the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G is powered by the Kirin 710A chipset. This octa-core chipset pairs up with up with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, one thing to note here is that it does not offer a microSD card slot for expansion. In terms of software, the device runs on Harmony OS 2 UI custom skin right out of the box.

For photo and videos, the newly launched Nova 8 SE specs include a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there are two 2-megapixel sensors in the setup as well for depth and macro shots, respectively. Meanwhile, at the front, the handset sports a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

Talking about its battery, the Huawei handset packs a 3,800mAh battery. This rated battery capacity is coupled with 66W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device includes Bluetooth v5.1 alongside a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. We also get to see a heat dissipation system on the device which prevents overheating.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G Price in China and Availability

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G price in China are set at CNY 2,099 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. Now, this converts to approximately Rs. 25,600. As 91Mobile reports, the India launch of the device may be pretty far away. The device has gone official in China in the Black, White, Silver and Blue colour options.
