New Jio prepaid recharge plans have now been introduced in India. These prepaid recharge plans are priced at Rs. 499, Rs. 666 and Rs. 888, respectively. Additionally, the telecom service provider has also announced a Rs. 549 data add-on Jio recharge plan. Now, these plans will be replacing the existing Rs. 401, Rs. 499 and Rs. 777 packs, respectively.
Further, the newly announced plans will be offering users with an entire year of Disney+Hotstar mobile subscription. The existing plans that will be replaced instead offered VIP subscription of Disney+Hotstar. The newly introduced plans will be available from September 1, 2021, which is tomorrow. The annual Rs. 2,599 prepaid Jio recharge plan has been modified as well. It now offers Disney+Hotstar mobile subscription for 1 year instead of the VIP subscription.

Moreover, the company has announced that, “The new Jio plans will offer all the above benefits on Disney+ Hotstar plus a new library of international content in the English language including Disney+ originals, TV shows from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, HBO, FX, Showtime & much more.”

Rs. 499 Jio Recharge Plan
The new Jio Disney+Hotstar mobile recharge plans start at Rs. 499. The base plan offers users with unlimited voice calls, 3GB of data and 100 SMS on a daily basis and the Disney+Hotstar mobile subscription. In addition, the base Jio recharge plan will also provide access to Jio apps like JioCinema, JioTV, JioSaavn and more. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days.

Rs. 666 Jio Recharge Plan
Moving to the next plan, it is priced at Rs. 666 and offers users with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day. Additionally, users also get 3GB of data per day and access to Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription. Further, users also get complimentary access to the all Jio apps. This particular plan comes with a validity of 56 days.
Rs. 888 Jio Recharge Plan
Lastly, the Rs. 888 recharge plan offers users with the same benefits that the other plans have to offer. However, the plan validity is that of 84 days and users get 2GB of data per day for that period.
Rs. 549 Add-On Data Plan
In addition, Jio has also announced a add-on data recharge plan priced at Rs. 549. This particular plan offers users with 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day. Further, it also offers users with Disney+Hotstar mobile subscription. The add-on data pack comes with a validity of 56 days.
Current Jio Disney+Hotstar VIP Plans
The current Jio recharge plans that offer Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription will be discontinued soon. These plans priced at Rs. 401, Rs. 499 and Rs. 777 will most likely be replaced by the new plans tomorrow itself. Besides, the Rs. 2,599 plan will be offering Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription instead of VIP subscription soon. However, the good news is that customers who have already recharged with either of the above mentioned plans will continue to enjoy its benefits till plan validity expiry. So, there is nothing to worry about there.
