The handset is expected to succeed the OnePlus 15T, which debuted in China earlier this year. According to recent leaks, the new model could feature MediaTek's Dimensity 9600M chipset, two 200-megapixel rear cameras and a large battery.
OnePlus has not officially confirmed the smartphone yet. However, the leaked specifications suggest that the company could bring significant improvements to performance, photography and overall durability. Interestingly, the upcoming device is also expected to be related to a new compact smartphone from Oppo.

The leaked specifications indicate that the OnePlus 16T could offer notable camera improvements over its predecessor. For comparison, the OnePlus 15T features two 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 7,500mAh battery. It also supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The upcoming model could feature a slightly smaller battery but retain a large capacity of at least 7,000mAh. However, the reported 80W charging speed would be slower than its predecessor's wired charging support.
Apart from OnePlus 16Tspecs, its launch date, pricing and availability remain unknown. OnePlus has not shared any official details about the device. For reference, the OnePlus 15T launched in China in March with a starting price of CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs. 58,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
