OnePlus has revealed its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and launched it in China. This powerful smartphone packs some top-of-the-line specifications that can easily rival modern flagships.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Specifications
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor powers the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Moreover, the company claims it is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 9,140 sq. mm cooling solution as a result of a new vapour chamber design. This cooling solution includes multiple sheets of graphite that allow heat to dissipate quickly and prevent the device from overheating.

This makes it one of the most powerful smartphones, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen is based on a 4nm process and paired with the 24GB LPDDR5X. The Ace 2 Pro also uses UFS 4.0 storage, so it won’t be surprising if it manages to ace all benchmarks.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This curved screen has a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 450 ppi. It is easily visible under bright sunlight thanks to its peak brightness of 1600 nits.
Furthermore, the company claims that curved displays can be used even in the rain due to the Rain Water Touch technology that uses a custom chip and algorithm to optimize the screen. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has 15 different elements in its metal body that can act as Wi-Fi antennas and improve stability.

When it comes to optics, the Ace 2 Pro sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS. An 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro lens back it. On the front, you get a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery that topped up quickly thanks to the 150W charger in the box. The company’s proprietary SUPERVOOC charging technology can charge the phone from 0 to 100 per cent in just 17 minutes. In addition to this, it also has a dedicated SUPERVOOC S chip that can monitor charging speed and temperature to guarantee “long-term charging protection.”
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Pricing and Availability
The phone runs on Color OS 13.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. It is available in three different variants: 12GB+256GB storage, 16GB +512GB storage and 24GB+1TB. The base variant of the phone, which comes with 12GB+256GB, will be available for CNY 2,999 (Rs.34,600). The 16GB+512GB and 24GB+1TB models are priced at CNY 3,399 (Rs.39,200) and CNY 3,999 (Rs.46,100) respectively.

The phone will be available in two different colours: Aurora Green and Titanium Ash Grey. There is also a limited edition Genshin Impact box set, which includes a Paimon-designed adapter and a case.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will go on sale on August 23, whereas the limited edition will be available from August 30.
