OnePlus Nord 2 5G India launch has been officially confirmed by the company. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone is also confirmed to go on sale via Amazon. Its’ confirmation comes via the Amazon India listing of the product via a microsite. The smartphone is all set to launch in India on July 22, as per the teaser poster. In addition, the brand has also announced the launch date on its social media accounts.
According to the tweet, the launch event will commence from 07:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). Although the smartphone has been in the news for quite some time now – this is confirming the most. Let us have a look at what we know of the OnePlus Nord 2:

In a blog post, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau says that the OnePlus Nord 2 is a “comprehensive upgrade from the first OnePlus Nord”. The upcoming phone will come with improvements in camera, performance, charging, and more. “We are confident that it delivers the dependable OnePlus fast and smooth experience you love, and lives up to the ‘Never Settle’ ethos”.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G Expected Specifications
It will most likely feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Additionally, the display will come with a 90Hz fast refresh rate. Moreover, we will most likely see an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

On the processor front, the smartphone will carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset will pair with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, the internal storage on the device may not be expandable. Furthermore, the smartphone will most likely run on Android 11 OS right out of the box.
For photos and videos, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the setup will also include a tertiary 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone could sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
