This is not the first time we are hearing that the Nord devices are apparently underworks and can launch soon. We are seeing reports on the OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus Nord CE 5G in recent times. However, only its existence is leaking not many details are out on the same. Now, popular tipster, Digital Chat Station confirms again that OnePlus is working on a phone running on MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Back in March, a report by Android Central mentioned the same. Moreover, the reports of its launch happening soon are surfacing online.

OnePlus Nord 2 With Dimensity 1200 SoC Tipped To Launch Soon?
According to the tipster, OnePlus is planning to launch a new OnePlus phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. It does not specify which one or mentions any moniker. However, this phone is most likely to launch as the OnePlus Nord 2, which will be the original Nord successor. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is tipping to succeed the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. Also, OnePlus Nord was the first OnePlus phone to feature a chipset outside of the flagship Snapdragon 800 series.

The phone is expecting to launch in mid-June, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 2 can also be expected to launch in India. According to leaks, the device will come with a big hardware upgrade. The upcoming OnePlus phone will run on MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, improved cameras, display, and battery. OnePlus Nord 2 will probably feature a 64MP main camera inside a quad-camera system.
