After a long wait, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G launch date in India has finally been unveiled! The brand took to their social media handles to reveal that the launch has been scheduled for February 17 2022. Moreover, we get to see a teaser video of sorts as well. This reveals certain design elements of the upcoming handset. Let’s take a quick look at the details.

Design Teased Officially!
Going by the official OnePlus tweet, we can derive a couple of things in terms of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G design. For starters, the volume rockers can be seen on the left side of the frame. Meanwhile, the power button is seen on the right side.
However, what is odd is that the alert slider could not be spotted. For those of you who are not familiar with it, the alert slider is a trademark feature of OnePlus handsets. Maybe the brand decided to keep it away from this model? Time will tell.

In terms of display, we get to see a flat one that sports a punch-hole notch design on the left. At the back, the handset is seen flaunting a triple rear camera setup.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G: What To Expect?
The upcoming Nord series handset by OnePlus is expected to come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. In addition, the display is also said to offer a 90Hz refresh rate. Talking about software, the smartphone is expected to run on Android 12 with the OxygenOS 12 custom skin on top. However, as per reports, the smartphone may launch with Android 11 out of the box in India.
On the processor front, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. This octa-core 5G chipset is said to pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
When it comes to optics, the upcoming handset will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup may include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. At the front, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G may sport a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

Finally, talking about battery, we may get to see the same 4,500mAh battery. This rated battery capacity may be coupled with 65W fast charging support.
