News about the rumoured OnePlus Pad has surfaced online again. Rumours suggest that this tablet by OnePlus has already entered the production phase in many parts of the world. This tablet would be a mid-range offering by the Chinese tech giant. We can expect it to boot Android 12L out of the box.

OnePlus Pad: What to Expect?

A tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma shows that the OnePlus Pad has already entered the production stage in several Eurasian and European regions.

As seen from his tweet, we can expect the tablet from OnePlus to launch anytime soon. In fact, it corroborates a report that suggested that the OnePlus Pad will launch in the first half of 2022.

An earlier report on the OnePlus Pad said that the tablet might run Android 12L out-of-the-box. The Android 12L by Google has been specifically designed to benefit devices with large screens. Since its launch of the Android Honeycomb in 2012, this is the first time Google is focussing on optimising its Android apps for larger displays.

Reports also state that OnePlus has been working towards the launch of a budget-oriented smartwatch in India. We can expect this smartwatch to be released under the OnePlus Nord family with a price tag below Rs. 10,000. Reports state that this smartwatch will have a price of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 8,000. We can expect this smartwatch by OnePlus to compete with smartwatches by brands like Xiaomi, Realme and AmazeFit among others.

We feel that the OnePlus smartwatch will come with a colour touchscreen. Reports say that this smartwatch might come with features like a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracking, step count, smartphone notifications, music control, and much more.
