OnePlus and Jio are now collaborating to bring an exciting feature to OnePlus TVs. The Jio Games service will now be added to OnePlus TV models. For now, the gaming service will be limited to just a couple of models. However, we will be getting to see the gaming service by Jio make it to other models as well, later on.
With the gaming industry booming in India, it makes sense for the brand to make it really accessible from any device. From the looks of it, OnePlus is bringing out the gaming potential of their Smart TVs with this move. The collaboration with Jio Games targets avid gamers in the community as well.

OnePlus TV X Jio Games: What More?
As mentioned before, the gaming service will be available and limited to a certain Smart TVs only. Jio Games also took to their official Twitter handle to tease the feature by tweeting, “Hey, @OnePlus_IN. Wanna play a game?”
Popular titles that are available on Jio Games will now be playable on the select TVs from the brand. These include K.G.F Official Game, Alpha Guns, Jungle Adventures 3, Little Singham Treasure Hunt and others from the Jio Games library.

The gaming service is available and limited to the OnePlus TV U1 Series, Q Series, TV U1S post OTA 2 update, and Y1S. However, the brand has plans of extending the brand new feature to their other Smart TVs as well.
OnePlus India’s CEO and Head of India, Navnit Nakra, states that, “At OnePlus, our community has been at the heart of everything we do. The OnePlus community comprises many avid gamers, which has led us to spearhead several gaming-specific initiatives in the smartphone industry. In line with these efforts, we are delighted to announce a first-of-its-kind gaming-led partnership in the Indian smart TV industry by joining hands with Jio Games.”
Further, he adds that, “This unique partnership is set to provide our OnePlus TV users access to a wonderful selection of games from JioGames’ diverse library and help them gain a truly immersive gaming experience.”
