Redmi Note 11 series phones have finally launched in India on February 9, 2022. They were originally announced at a global event last month and come with mid-range specifications. It also has Xiaomi’s trademark Evol design. Moreover, both Redmi phones share some similarities. This new series comes as a successor of the Redmi Note 10 series launched last year. Let’s take a look at the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S price in India, specifications, and features.

Price in India and Availability

The smartphone will be available on Amazon, Mi store, and offline retailers from February 21, 2022. Redmi Note 11 comes in three storage configurations – 4GB+64GB available at Rs. 13,499, 4GB+128GB costs Rs. 14,999, and 6GB+128GB has a price tag of Rs. 15,999.

Whereas, the Redmi Note 11S comes in three storage configurations – 6GB+64GB available at Rs. 16,499, 6GB+128GB costs Rs. 17,499, and 8GB+128GB retails at Rs. 18,499. Both phones will be available in three colours – Space Black, Polar White and Horizon Blue.

Redmi Note 11 Series: Full Specifications

Display, Software, and other features

In terms of similarity, the phones feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The phones come with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It also comes along with a DCI-P3 colour gamut and 1000 nits peak brightness.

Moreover, they both run on Android 11 based MIUI 13 out of the box and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other features of the devices include a side fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, microSD support, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification. Sensors on the Redmi Note 11 series are Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Electronic compass, IR blaster, Gyroscope.

Processor, Camera Setup

The differences lie in the processor and the camera setup for the Note 11 series. The vanilla Note 11 comes with a Snapdragon 680 SoC under the hood along with an Adreno 610 GPU. Whereas, the Redmi Note 11S draws power from a MediaTek Helio G96 processor paired with Mali G-57 GPU. Additionally, both devices have LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The Note 11S features 3GB of virtual RAM while the vanilla Note 11 features 2GB of virtual RAM.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 11 sports a quad rear camera setup that houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the Note 11 offers a 13-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.4 lens.
