Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, the much-anticipated handset from the South Korean smartphone brand, is reportedly making its way to the market soon. The new Samsung A-series smartphone is likely to come as an upgrade of the Galaxy A52 phone that went official in March last year. The handset that previously appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, has now been reportedly spotted on the Compulsory Certificate of China (3C) listing. Samsung Galaxy A53: Specifications (Leaked)
Recently, the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. It came as model number SM-A536E/DS. The Galaxy A53 5G earlier appeared on the Geekbench website with model number SM-A536U.
According to previous leaks and rumours, the Galaxy A53 5G will come with the Exynos 1200 SoC, 6GB of RAM, Android 12 on board from day one and a 120 Hz AMOLED display. It may come with FHD+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a quad rear camera setup. The upcoming A53 5G will feature a bezel-less display with a centred punch-hole.
Last year’s Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A52s 5G all supported 25W charging, but only had a 15W charger in the box. There’s no reason to think the situation will be any different this year. So at least you have the option for faster charging, but not including a 25W charger in the box just seems petty on Samsung’s part at this point.
The handset has been spotted on the BIS certification website. So the India launch is definitely on cards. What do you think of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G? Let us know in the comments below.
